Micro_Landscape

I have built, and begun maintaining a Micro-Landscape for this semester’s design studio. I’m pretty excited about it. My goal is to produce an abundance of Golden Pathos Ivy using hydroponic growing techniques. I drove out to Denham Springs last week and had a good talk with the folks at Geaux Hydroponics. They sold me some fertilizer that coul kill a horse in large quantities. The bottle came with some pretty scary warnings.

I’ve decided to keep the aesthetic side of my landscape fairly scientific in appearance. I’m using test tubes for planters and I’ve crafted a fairly minimal support structure that can hold up to 64 new plants. Hopefully my landscape will outgrow it and I’ll need to construct another one. Grow little fellas grow!
