Brian Eno_Imaginary Landscapes

I’m an enormous fan of Brian Eno’s production, video installations and of course his music, both pop and ambient material. Over the break I stumbled upon this documentary at my friend’s video store in Bloomington, IN. Eno shares his process, views on the ‘art’ audience, and other assorted philosophies for which he’s famous for.
I’ve always been intrigued by the relationship between sound and landscape. The two mirror each other on many different levels. The legacy of film is a good example; take Ennio Morricone & the Spaghettie Western for instance. We all relate that bare-bone vibrato guitar style to the open western landscape. More on that later I hope.

(Editor’s Note: This is my first posting for LA 7002, apologies in advance for WordPress ignorance – I’m sure I’ll master its nuance soon enough. Might as well jump in.)
